I too would very much appreciate this happening. Please Bungie! Convince me to buy a smartphone.
Though, after reading this from Halcylon, I'm a bit saddened, and not too hopeful.

The app on iOS and Android will notify you if you have your settings in your profile set up to do so.

Originally Posted by: Sean
But I have a Windows Phone (Samsung Focus S), and the Bungie Mobile app doesn't exist on WP.
It would be nice if it was on all 3 main types of smartphones.

Originally Posted by: Halcylon
While I'm not bashing, the numbers show that the Windows phone is in no way a "main" type of smart phone.

While they'd probably be reluctant to do so, the Bungie community have proved themselves quite talented on a number of occasions.

Yeah, i see so many talented people out there in our community that may can do this possible.

That is a little upsetting to read, especially when there are so many people here who do have one. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how long they hold out.

Yeah. I wasn't too happy when I read it. Oh well, as far as I know, Bungie.net has/will have the same abilities as the app??? So, at least, we shouldn't be missing a lot/much. Unless I'm wrong, in which case, :(
