It's one of my favourite franchises. I've played most of the games. I've completed all the Solid games (MGS, MGS2, MGS3, MGSPO, MGS4 and MGSPW) except for the Twin Snakes. I've also played MG, MG2 and MGR:R, but I haven't completed them yet.
My top 5 would probably be:
1. Metal Gear Solid 3
2. Metal Gear Solid 2
3. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
4. Metal Gear Solid
5. Metal Gear Solid 4
I would definitely say MGS2 has the best music in the series.

MGS2 is not #1 in terms of music. Sure the theme is the best (maybe) but the rest is forgettable and the ending song is pure trash. Snake Eater, Way to Fall, Here's to You, Heaven's Divide and The War Still Rages Within are ALL better than Can't Say Goodbye to Yesterday.

Shit yeah. I really liked Portable Ops. I actually got MPO + before it, I had no idea that PO even existed. Confused me like hell.
