Playing through Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes for the first time.
There was a mighty big learning curve for the first hour or so, but after I got into the flow of things, I can now see why this series has so many dedicated fans. I am loving every minute of it. I just got onto disc two (Comm Tower A), and am looking forward to finishing the game over the weekend!
Simply out of curiosity: what do you guys think of the Metal Gear franchise? Gameplay? Story? Music? Favorite in the series?

Edited by Wolvers: 3/8/2013 11:19:14 AMMetal Gear?! Yeah, it's a pretty great series even if a little self-indulgent sometimes. In order of preference: 1. MGS3 2. MGS: Peace Walker 3. Metal Gear Solid 4. MGS2 5. MGS4 (best gameplay at times, but a disappointing story and lack of stealth) All are great games, just some are better than others. Haven't played Rising yet. Love the music of the series.
