Will Mouse and Keyboard be Compatible with Destiny on PS3?
Heyo, I'm just wondering if Destiny will be compatible with mouse and keyboard on the PS3 since a lot of shooters that are ported there support it.

I feel like that would make pvp very broken by having mouse users and controller users against each other. Mouses make aiming too easy.

1 ReplyThey will if nobody bought the game and cited the lack of a proper control mechanism for a fps mmo. If this game had a 3rd person option, I would be fine with a controller; but they are forcing a 1st perspective, no mouse support AND no PC release. So it's an automatic no-buy for me. It's every combination of wrong. I would hate playing this beautiful looking game.

I too am wondering this, it would pretty much make Destiny a day one buy for me if it supports keyboard and mouse on PS4.

6 RepliesDon't know, but I'm guessing since there might not be a PC release that it's doubtful. Even if there were a PC release, game devs know that the mouse is much more accurate than the controller. Seeing as though there is competitive multi-player in this game, that the mouse and keyboard would give a huge advantage over players with controllers, so they probably wouldn't allow it.

probably not. most console games that support mouse and keyboard, are also on pc. and most pc games that support controlers are blockbusters available on consoles, too.
