that would be amazing, but I'd have to agree with Euphorius in saying that the majority of players probably wouldn't like it. I could definitely see Bungie making some amazing and huge multiplayer maps, but they will probably go off of the standard multiplayer formula. In the ViDoc, there appeared to be clan names when they showed the menu screen. I wonder if there will be modes focused around clans kinda similar to planetside.

It would be amazing, but considering the game's focus is co-op and singleplayer, I wouldn't expected [i]that[/i] large of scale.

what if its like that FOR the single player. maybe 30-50 people running through mars takeing different locations and trying to defend them.

That would be cool, but it would detract from fighting the aliens. What I imagine would be a few "clans" fighting over an area like forge world with varying terrain and structures.
