Does someone need to have a value to society? If someone does nothing to benefit others, is that someone still worthy of life and love? I know so.
See, I see "no value to society" thrown around a lot on this forum. Well, who cares? We're all humans. That's the only ticket to respect and love that any of us need. I don't care if you're a drunken homeless man "stealing" people's money on welfare, you're still a human. I'll still love you and give you respect. You don't need to "contribute", you don't need to have a "value". Humanity is your value.
Am I the only person who thinks this? It seems we've become more cynical with the ages. Less likely to love and more apt to hate. To point fingers. To call people "worthless", to tell people to "kill yourself".
It makes me sad sometimes, I'm not gonna lie. Why can't we all just love each for the humans that we are?

This OP is the result of people feeling they are "entitled" to things. In fact, it has gotten so far out of hand. People think they are entitled to "love" and "respect." If you want to love and respect OP, you have to work for it. Plain and simple. Nothing comes free in life. Not even human emotion, empathy, and sympathy. One day you'll understand.
