DESTINY. PS3 AND PS4 VERSIONS. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES?

So there's going to be a ps4 version of Destiny. Now what could be the differences from the ps3 version? No doubt off the bat better graphics and smoother frame rates. But regardless of that, personally I want to believe that it will have larger environments, more customization options, more weapons, and of course larger multiplayer. What other differences do you think there could be?

  • In part, I believe that the differences are going to envolve the server connections and or the quality of the mutliplayer gameplay! I don't know much about that stuff, but this pops into my head alot.

  • I don't know when the content is released but it would be better if they released it only in new gen consoles. Old gen would only limit the game to new gen if they wanted to release the same game.

  • There's going to be content exclusive to ps4. That's about it. It's still the same game.

    • No one knows, because they haven't said anything. So it's all speculation. I'd imagine graphics, load times, number of objects on screen, render distance, LoD, and other such things that are scalable.

      • I remember reading somewhere that Bungie could potentially be working on the first game with an online required world that is playable cross platform. That means ps3, ps4, 360, and the nextbox. If this is true, there really wouldn't be much of a huge difference, just Bungie reaching out to those who don't want to invest in a new console. It seems pretty far fetched, but it's possible.

        • I don't think it would have completely different sized areas because then they would be different games no? It will most likely just be better visuals and a little more content since PS4 was confirmed to have exclusive Destiny content.

          • Let's hope it's not like Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter for Xbox and Xbox 360. The campaign was literally different in every aspect.

I would like to think only Graphics and frame rate. I wouldn't really expect more than that as the feel of the versions would be different play wise.
