Edited by ShadowSong13: 7/26/2014 8:49:34 PMYes for split screen. My wife and I play split screen all the time. She really got into Halo and gears of war and borderlands. Only have one console. I was really excited about Destiny but no split screen may not work with our playing habits and household. We tend to play after work at night together. We also play online with other family members and friends and we each have our own live accounts. Taking turns just does not seem like a good alternative and I do not have the money for a second console and copy of the game.

There should be split screen. I play video games with my wife. Split screen was one of the reasons we loved Halo so much.

Looked forward to the beta and was so disappointed that I had to play separate from my husband - we game together and looked forward to exploring and backing each other up - hated having to play and then stop to let him explore. Need that shared experience and hope fireteams include four or more as we game with friends and family so would need more than 3 on a team. Loved the Halo, GOW, COD, Borderlands, and Diablo as we could share our single console but play together (or against).

How can I put this? NO!

Sign my petition and refer it to Bungie! At least convince them that players want this so they'll add it in the future.

Edited by Infernal_jayed: 8/8/2014 10:00:11 PMThis is not a surprise. Bungie has let people know that there won't be any slit screen in this game. Either adapt or don't.

No and no

It would allow my roomie to play without buying a ps4 and dropping bandwidth in my house

Hell yeah

Edited by ContextError: 7/23/2014 7:14:04 PMdual screen is so much better, don't deny it. You know this is true. I should add I mean two screens side by side.
-
I think it should be plus I don't think they'll put it
-
Totally needs split screen I personally hate playing multiplayer on my own and I mean no one sitting right next to me that I know and can have fun playing a game with.

I have set the main split screen question up as a poll. Please cast your vote. Thank you fellow Bungieites!!!

I would love split screen with guest or multiple guests. Not sure how they would work it in with guests weapons or packages. Maybe what the original player is using but its not like halo anymore, there are a lot of different options now. I still hope they squeeze it in though.

You do this you'll become legend;never mind us.

Explotation with a friend on the same screen seems awesome. But Bungie shouldn't go 'Social' (meaning to say goodbye to splitscreen like all other game producers) in addition that having a game with this content without splitscreen will cause a big loss in motivation to buy the game. Bungie you're this far do not let others loose interest in this. some people say the little things matter. think of Bungie 10 years ago to now. I'm simply saying splitscreen will turn out big. Please read this and axiomatcally think of what I mean by this. I have hope you'll make the right decision. Dont let your followers down.

Even if they don't innitiate with local/guest splitscreen; They could release a split screen compatabillity DLC later after release. with all hope their doing this as a plan B. FYI i don't care about splitscreen resolution (We all would stipulate with that)
-
I dunno about guests, but I'd like to see split-screen capabilities. My girlfriend and I both have XBL accounts, but only one xbox; it'd be nice to play at the same time.
-
Hell yeah. Me and my wife play Borderlands together and i think she might just get into destiny since it has similarity's to borderlands. So if Destiny has split screen i can effectively double my playtime. Guess we are going to find out when the beta comes.

I would love if it was splitscreen!!
-
Yeah it would be fun if my fiancé ever got into video games
-
It usually sounds like something right up Bungie's alley, but it's very hard to do that in a game like Destiny. Personally, I really want split screen but if it was going to be a feature it would've probably been announced by now. Here's to hoping that I'm wrong.

I think it would be nice to see split screen in Destiny since I have a fiance and I really don't want to have to buy a second game for us to play online with her. Couch co-op on a split screen just makes things more fun since you won't need microphones to speak to each other you could just be there having a good time with each other. Sure the screen gets smaller to compensate for two people to play but is that really a problem?
