Do you really need that GPU? I don't think you'd need that unless you're doing something heavy like gaming. Also, you're definitely going to have to replace some parts as they will most certainly spoil.

  • Like i said, i have no experience with low-cost computer parts. For gpu, i just think the lower the price, the lower the quality. Also, I'm having to future proof this computer as much as possible, even though future proof is impossible. Any suggestions?

  • Maybe look at an APU? They're way cheaper than a processor with a discrete GPU especially since your GPU is quite high end. As for futureproofing, I think it should be fine. I don't quite see why you MUST have 16gb RAM though.

    It was what i was told to get, I tried to talk them out of it, but it's useless. And i'll look into APU's.

  • You might not even need an APU, just a integrated Intel graphics card. The program you said you will be using does not look graphic-intensive at all.
