I have a concern. Everyone here seems pretty nice so I wouldn't mind playing with you guys (I am new though), but many people over the internet are (to put it nicely... unpleasant) Jackasses. If I'm going to be stuck in a universe playing with those creatures I'll certainly go solo. Maybe Bungie could have a settings place like gamerzone on xboxlive so I can play with people who aren't... Unpleasant.

Totally. I've played plenty of jackasses and the best thing for it is to stay far away from them.

Yeah, A few planet lengths should do it...

Your in luck, there's only going to be a wee bit amount of public zones in the game. The rest is all yours, or anyone in your party, that is.

I fully plan on lone wolfing it.

My guess is that Bungie will designate an area or a flagging option for matchmaking. At least I really hope so, because the trekking 30 miles thing sounds hardcore rage quit worthy. Although if they managed to build something over 30 miles big I might faint. From what the game sounds like, you won't be able to turn off the multiplayer function. Come to think of it, how are they going to fit everyone on this game anyway? Are they doing a mega server idea like TES Online, or will it be servers like you see on most MMO's? Or are they doing something else?

Edited by Saxoclone: 2/22/2013 12:32:40 AMIt's already been confirmed that the main game does not have PvP. The faction wars hopper sounds like it's PvP, but it's separate.
