I believe in God.
God makes much more sense than a "BigBang" lets compare :D
God:
A person built a house.
BBT:
The house just made its self from nothing, because that can totally happen.
Who wins?
Obviously God, lol, that was pretty easy...

Where did God come from? BBT doesn't explain that it was from nothing either. Way to know your science.
-
Also, the Big Bang Theory does not state something came from nothing. It was an outwards explosion from a singularity with infinite mass and energy.
-
The point is that the singularity itself came from nothing. But I must say, a lot of these pro-God people should just go away. It's a bad representation. Come back when you learn a little more. I mean no offense, but do not shove your nose in an area in which you have little knowledge.

Are you talking about me?

Edited by Corvus Prudens: 2/22/2013 12:17:18 AMWut? But seriously, it was a generalization. I was not citing any specific person or his post. So no, I was not talking about you. Edit: The point I was making is that, without valid evidence, one should not post on this topic. Otherwise, there is no reason to believe what anyone else is saying. For example, I can hardly scream "THE BIG BANG IS FAKE," or "EVOLUTION IS STUPID," without giving evidence for the claims. Therefore, if you know only little about your stance, do not assert its truth.

But where did god come from?
-
Nothing!

SO MUCH HURRRRRRR I THINK IM GOING TO DURRRR

the house didnt make istself. somehow plz dont ask me how the big bang made earth. anyway somehow the big bang made the earth, that intern made trees over long times from meteor's bringing water to the earth that over long time made probably made a fongus that over looooooooooooong time evolved to humans that make the house. no need for insults.

The Big Bang occurred 13.72 billion years ago, the Sun formed about 4.58 billion years ago, and the Earth formed about 4.52 billion years ago. The Earth has not existed since the universe's initial expansion, the process of planetary/stellar formation needed to take place in order for that to occur. Do you even know how stars form?
