Final mass held for gay Catholics in Soho

I wish churches will grow up, why do we even have religion in the 21st century it causes society to stay separated instead of bring society together. Its a institution of hate not love you only need to look back in history to see this.
Governments are moving forwards but religion won't. What do you guys think? Should catholic churches continue with LGBT mass or should they be allowed to discriminate?

2 RepliesI'm confused, what exactly is a "gay mass"? Is it a mass where they attempt to refute scripture that says acts of homosexuality are sinful, or is it just a mass designed to make gay people feel more comfortable? Both seem odd to me. Gay people shouldn't feel uncomfortable in church, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). It's like making a separate mass for people that lie habitually, or are arrogant, or selfish, etc. Mass is for sinners, not for saints, and I hope the elimination of that mass means they're trying to incorporate [i]all[/i] church members into their mass, rather than segregating.

People wanted power, quickest way to power was to pretend you were of the Christian religion. Those people did not follow the teachings of Christ. And you're silly if you think they did.
