The Darkness is Darkest before the end of Darkness.
I couldn't remember the exact saying, but remember that it's darkest right before the light... or something like that. I find it ironic that with an upcoming Destiny announcement and hints being dropped everywhere, we're at the darkest point in "The Darkness" to date. But we'll see new members as soon as Destiny is officially revealed, and even more when it is actually released.
What do you think this new influx of members is going to do to the community here, considering a lot of the community has left (or is lurking, I don't know.)? What role are us people from Bungie's Halo days going to play in the community now?

We can agree that the sun isn't rising as fast as we would prefer it to, but glimmers of light are starting to rip through the black velvet of night. Listen closely and you can hear the morning birds warming up their tweets.

9 RepliesI couldn't resist. Anywho, I wouldn't say that we're in the darkest part of the darkness, that would have been over the summer. Sure, we were entertained by DeeJ, but not much new information was provided. Yet now, we've heard a little more, the site has been updated, and we've read articles about Bungie that seemed to have been long in the making (and the first actual new information in a long time). The birds are chirping, the air smells fresh with the morning dew, and I think I can smell a hint of coffee brewing somewhere...Destiny awaits.

They'll be excited like children on Christmas day, when the glow of Destiny Intel beckons them like sparkling presents. But, just like children, they'll need guidance, and they'll look to us. We will show them the true meaning of Recon. We will show them why Choppers on Lost Platoon don't count. We will show them the sacred blue flame, and they will look unto us... ...untill about two weeks in when they realize we're just screwing with them. XD
