Another week... Another BETA UPDATE.

Bungie Community, Another refinement to the realm has gone live. Had you noticed? Once again, much of what we're doing can only be detected in the catacombs deep beneath our city. Yet, there are some juicy details that will impact your experience as our most esteemed guests. They are... 1) We've updated the old Bungie.net. It will be left forever-standing (never say forever) with prompts to intercept the sentimental and bring them here. 2) We fixed a bug with iOS. Those of you who were receiving multiple notifications on your mobile devices... won't. 3) The "Dark Theme" has been finessed. Can you spot the changes? 4) It should be a lot easier to spot the public conversations being hosted by your private groups. You should also be able to tell who is a member, and who is just keeping an eye on you. And, that is it. That's the end. For now. Many of you keep asking how long the Beta will last. When it's over, you'll know. For now, please keep talking to us about your experiences on board the new battle station. Sincerely, DeeJ BNG Assistant to the Community Manager

 • To quote myself in this post: "OMG there's a dark mode? yayayayayayayay! =) I was going to complain that all this white and silver looks soooo generic, plain and impersonal (the colour scheme of b.net always seemed to radiate a feeling of hominess and underground fan-base-iness)." Somehow I feel that dark mode should be made default as old members who do not know of this may find the white starkness to be too unfamiliar and so make them less willing to be active in the community. Both old and new members may also find it too impersonal and unfriendly, thus also making them less willing to be active in the community. Just my opinion, but it is something which i really liked about in the old site (and the new with dark mode enabled).
