As some of you know, I recieved my Halo 3 copy today from the Pontiac contest. I have been playing campaign fine by myself for about an hour. My brother just got here and we went in to do some splitscreen co-op campaign, and bam... Theres black bars on the left and right side of the screen! I tried going through every setting, reading the manual, checked my Xbox360 settings but it wont change! Any suggestions (or anyone else with their copy confirm this issue?)
Thanks.
Posted by: UKR TNA Yeah i thought that too, i saw like "eh, what the f**k?" went through all the options to find a vertical split screen. then i realized that is does keep the aspect of 16:9 for both both and yeah it makes sense. but bungie could of put something on those sides of darkness. even if just a logo, that cool bungie darkened theme wallpaper that came with special edition or picture of chief and arbiter at either side. so stop youre -blam!-in its fine, its supposed to be that way and as for gow youll notice you lose quite a bit if detail as it zoomed view closer to the character and yes in 2 player it is stretched cmon be happy.
