Halo 2 FanFest Update!
What: [b]Bungie Halo 2 Launch FanFest![/b]
When: Monday, 11/8/04, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Admission: FREE!
NOTE : You must be 17 or older to attend the Bungie FanFest. Sorry, but our game is rated M and is meant for people 17 or older. If you're under 17, you need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you plan to attend, you MUST bring this invitation with you so we can separate the fans from the rif raff. There is no real limit on how many people can come, however, if we reach capacity, we'll be forced to create a line outside and limit entry. We'll play this by ear based on how crazy things get.

So, what's happening at this year's event? Here's a quick run down of what's planned so far:
[*]Play Halo 2 Multiplayer hours before anyone else in the U.S.!
[*]Mingle and chat with members of the Bungie development team
[*]Get a cool commemorative gift (while supplies last)
[*]See segments from the Halo 2 bonus DVD
[*]Win cool prizes! We'll be having an ongoing prize raffle and giving away all sorts of cool stuff including actual copies of Halo 2!
[*]A special treat from our friends at Red vs Blue
and who knows what else we'll cook up... it should be a good time for everyone!

I will definetely be there.... all the people in my clan (86 members) are SOOO jelous of me since am the only one who can make it that day from WA... Thank God for vacation days!!!

Aww maybe another day :) I travelled 750miles back in Sept to go play Zanzibar, but a few thousand...hmm, tempting as it maybe think I might just skip on this one hehe. But damn is it tempting :) Anyhow, to anyone going have a good bash, and remember all the drinks are on Frankie ;) hehe.

The idea of there being a lot of people there doesn't bother me, as long as it's possible to get in. And I said "I just hope" quite a bit in the last post... Too pumped-up, maybe?

I hate that I can't go because I am under age. At least I am like dead close in seattle. I can just hope a bus from school over there :) thats the a few pluses of having a high school smack damb in the city of seattle. Maybe I can get a hobo to get us in there for like a sandwich or some food.

I doubt it, just go in, it will be too crowded to notice. To bad I am only 14 and live in boston. I would literally give my entire current savings I have access to, to go there. (150$) I am so poor :_;

I would climb over a fence and knock out a security guard to get it. I did that to get in to the World Series. GO SOX! (Except for the security guard part.)

Blast, if only i was 3 years older, could drive, and wasnt lazy! Seattle isn't too far from Van city but i can wait the extra day. Patiently, toiling away. Patiently. Been nosing around and the like, and there is going to be a "kinda" Fanfest in London also. On Wednesday 10th (remember it comes out on the 11th in the UK) Microsoft is holding in the shadow of London Bridge to quote "The biggest gaming bash, along with the biggest soundtrack this year, for the eve of the launch of Halo 2 and the end of civilisation as we know it". From the little detail I've managed to so far locate, it seems its going to be hosted with DJ's from Radio 1 and Kiss FM, and aload of other cool stuff. As yet I haven't found where to get any tickets from but there is an official launch atleast elsewhere :)
