I just got out of a meeting at Bungie. They're always fun.
We talked about you a lot. Yes, you! We traded notes on what you've been telling us. We have some new ideas for how we can tinker with our new battle-station.
I won't promise that everyone's wishes will be granted. I ain't no genie. Ain't got no bottle.
What I can tell you is that this is a Beta. And what you're telling us is a crucial component to our perceptions of the test. Stay tuned to this work in progress. You wouldn't want to miss a chance to debate the tweaks as they go live.
Keep talking, Bungie Community. Keep talking, Flood. Keep talking, Jessica.

The last time one of you guys told me to do this, I woke up chained to a desk...and drunk.
-
"I ain't no genie." and "Ain't got no bottle." are both double-negatives, thus meaning that DeeJ is in fact a genie with a bottle. For my second wish...

Speaking of "Come into my parlor" customizable ship interior would be pretty cool. Give me something to do while in orbit lol

Edited by Kylestien: 7/20/2014 4:13:32 PMI know you will not answer this but I will give it a shot: Any chance you could tell us a LITTLE bit what was debated and ecided? I think this a good one to debate for example: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/66461052/0/0

Everything is flawless for me. Thanks! I just hope we can save the contents of our vault or at least our favorite weapon to be carried forward to the final release.
-
I really hope the level Will change back to 30 or at least hire more than with the Alpha was a lot less than what it was now it's at eight and it's really disappointing sad

elmicker has a sweetheart. So adorable.
-
Sooo... Is the end of the beta immanent?
-
While we wait, is there a chance that the people in charge of Destiny's box art get a mobile wallpaper version? (Iphone, Samsung, nokia...)

Edited by Commander Tempu: 9/30/2013 2:29:48 PMCan we get the old Foums jokes with the sayings i miss."This feels like a Dream..." or the Log in when it says" Blame Stosh" or the like. Let it feel like bungie.net if i may say so. And can we have our saved threads back. Our long time old members left and we need to get them back so can we make some compromises on the new and old features ?

Edited by Psuedo: 1/13/2013 12:37:41 PMIt looks nice, the influnces are pretty clear, and I can see that the web team want to take b.net in a more social direction. Navigation is currently a little lacking, most of that'll be sorted by getting used to the new layout I feel. It does take a little while to get between threads on a private group though, and pinned threads would be nice as asking for people to like threads will probably get dull for some moderators. It'd be nice to see how many people have liked threads too. Groups don't load when you try to access them through profile on my default android browser. It's from one of the older OSes, but you might want to look into that.

Edited by Mayhem: 1/13/2013 2:48:55 AMSeparate forums. No white background. URLs visible in links. Oldest to newest (first to last) post system. Pages, not constant scrolling. Old quote, post, and reply system. Bigger text. Is this asking for too much?
-
You wouldn't want to miss a chance to debate the tweaks as they go live.
Any specific time frame for when these changes will be implemented?
-
Honestly, now that I'm actually able to sign in and post here, I'm pretty happy. Which isn't to say I'm not going to keep pestering y'all with suggestions and complaints - but I promise I won't spam up your Twitter feed too much any more. XD
-
Chronological post order with pages.
-
I can see the usefulness of hashtags however I do not think that each hashtag can be a forum unto itself. In theory this seems like a good idea but it just doesn't work in practice. It can however work well as a sub forum organizer. Things like #Halo4, #GamingNews, #WorldNews and so on could become a good way of organizing a subforum and make it easier to search for things. But here everythings just lumped in one ball. If you won't create a designated subforum then atleast add a quicklink to th toolbar for things like #Flood and #Community and so on.
-
Please get rid of hashtags. Yes in theory they seem like they could be very useful, but for #feedback for instance, what am I possibly going to do with that? Are there really that many topics on #feedback that I can browse through? Hashtags can work on twitter because theres, oh idk, millions of people using them? Bnet isn't that big, and its just an almost useless feature. And if you guys do get rid of hashtags, then it will be seemingly neccessary to just make a forum for #offtopic and #community and so on, which I think everyone wants back. #swag
-
Please make the reply's to a thread be in order so that the first post shows up right under the topic instead of the very bottom and the most recent comment shows up at the bottom. Its insanely annoying to have to scroll down to the bottom of a thread and read up to be able to understand the discussion.
-
I would honestly like the preview post option back, in case someone wants to post a lot of links or something.
-
If i got a bottle could I catch you and make you my genie?
-
Hey, if this is going to be more in the style of a social network, could we get the use of smillies? Just put a limit of like one or two in a post so they don't get spammed though. :)
