Okay, I've had enough time to read pages 1 to 27 and from what I see, 70% of the people are happy at the fact that Halo 3 will ship with online co-op. 30% on the other hand are the whining basterds that aren't greatful that one of their years of dream has been fulfilled. What the hell is wrong with you guys, I swear you guys disgust me, you keep begging for something, you finally get it and then you complain about the minor aspect of it and beg for more? Screw you! 1) A lot of the people want to be ODSTs -- Not that Bungie won't allow you, it's just [b]IMPOSSIBLE[/b]. These guys are just humans, they aren't as advanced as the Chief and the elites so they: a) Don't run as fast b) Don't jump as high c) Don't have shields and will die the moment a bullet hits their head d) Are not as big as an elite or the Chief, if you play as them you'll be thinking "Boy do grunts look big." 2) A minority of the people are saying to be another SPARTAN (not MC clone, Fred and stuff) -- If you do that then you'll end up with a game similar to Brute Force. Plus, the game is about the Chief, we do not want to defeat the purpose. 3) These are increasing in numbers. Requests that instead of being elites, you're the MC clones like before -- This time in Halo, they want the story to be a bit more smooth and want to reinforce the fact that elites has allied themselves with the humans. Of course we can have AI elites fight by the Chief to show this, but approaching it with co-op will strengthen it. Plus, what's wrong with being a Sangheili? If you really don't enjoy it then host your own game and be the Chief. If people consider joining your game, they'll know that they're going to be an elite. 4) A few people want offline 4 player co-op -- I'm not a technical person of anything so I reckon there will be a lot of flaws in this. What I'm thinking is that since Halo 3 has a lot of detail in it, it's been polished and all, that's a bucket load to load. Maybe 2 player co-op will make the 360 work it's arse off let alone 4 player co-op? I mean, the campaigne levels are massive. Maybe they spread that across a few consoles to make it easier and more convenient for the loading? Just what I'm thinking. I for one, see nothing about the game I should be complaining about. It's all my wishes packed into one disk, the only thing that bums me out is the wait until it comes out. And seeing as I tend to have very bad luck when it comes to purchasing a game, I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to get it on launch day because it's out of copies or something.
