For a year and a half I’ve been saying to myself, Bungie won’t do that to me, Bungie will not do that to me and upon hearing the news of four player co-op play I am absolutely ecstatic, but then oh so suddenly find that I’m once again wholly betrayed (Of course not personally). Why must Bungie taunt my poor soul and the thousands of other people who are stuck offline, in many cases due to money without a friend who can system link with you. I am sitting here nigh in tears that this one thing that I was relying on to stay constant when everything else in my life turns south. I feel so utterly betrayed and know that no matter how much I hope for it, bungie with Halo3 and my very last hope (unreal tournament 3) I'm going to get ripped off for split screen play at every turn. This is especially important to me as I have a twin and because of that I always feel bad when playing those absolutely awesome single player games (Fable 2, Mass effect and assassins creed to name some upcoming ones) and he's just watching. He's not going to miss out for Halo 3, but I sure as hell hate it that you aren't going to give us (No we aren't a minority yet) offline players the same decent gameplay options. You aren't considering the huge market of people who have friends who have PS3's, still can't get the 360 themselves or simply want to play together. I beg you now please don’t do this to us, this is absolute hell being in my spot....but I guess you don’t realise that so much not having to quite deal with a single percent of the hardships that I’ve been through let alone the many others who are far worse off. Tylis [/quote] seriously dude whats your problem??? its not like they made it so you cant play the campaign offline they didnt take anything away whatsoever all they have done is added the ability for 4 friends over xbox live to play the campaign together.Im not exactly sure what you want them to fix its baffling i mean it sounds as if you believe that you will be unable to play the game without being online or being system linked. I assure you that you and your twin will be able to play campaign together or even play a 1v1 custom game if you want without having xbox live or any sort of internet connection..I seriously dont know what your problem is.....also noone needs to hear the sob stories no offense but most people dont read all the posts and thos that do will criticize or make un of you fo one like that.
