I couldn't agree with you more. Eric Nylund created this great story line with a fine line of characters that are Spartans...and every time we have shipped a game after the first Halo came out I expect to see at least ONE other Spartan included in the story line. Ok, maybe I am exaggerating because the dissapointment has only happened once (when we shipped Halo2), but still, I have to argue, an onine COOP of 4? Wasn't this a great opportuniy to mix in at least one other Spartan in the story? My favorite moment of Halo2? When Master Chief, said "This is Spartan 117". It was a great reference to the novels and I thought it was the start of a better integrated story line. Bungie, guys, please reconsider...I know Master Chief is the protagonist of this story but please, please, please, give us another Spartan to control (there are some out there left from the first novel). I work on the Microsoft C++ compiler, and I know you guys use our tools, so please, the least you could do is give us ONE other Spartan =P Take care and keep up the great work...an online COOP of 4? Amazing...the Alpha and Beta's were excellent, this campaign mode is going to be awesome (let me know if you need a volunteer to test the network code =P).
