Nvidia is creating a mobile style game pad that can run ANY android based game, AND stream games from your PC that are on your HDD and from Steam. You can play your Battlefield 3, X-COM, even get a round of Planetside 2 in. This device looks promising, lets hope it can deliver!

Its like a Mega Dream-Cast for PC

I'm very interested to see how this does
-
#Gaming would be worth it.

Who bumped this thread anyways?

Dangggggggggggg

Edited by Legend To None: 11/30/2013 7:31:48 PMI don't think so, there's a lot of other stuff like it,but other kids will prob like it

I'd say so. PC gaming is taking over and nvidia made it good.
-
Link isn't working for me... How much did they say it was going to cost?

Edited by Funkbrotha10: 1/12/2013 12:18:39 AMThis device will be dead on arrival. Also why would you want to stream a game from your gaming PC, onto some small little clunky thing?
-
Won't you need an extremely good wireless router for this to work?

Edited by TopWargamer: 11/30/2013 5:51:50 PMI wouldn't mind getting a shield just so I could stream to it and then hookup the Shield to a larger TV, mainly so that my dad can play some PC games on his TV more easily. The only downside to the Shield is that you HAVE to have a Kepler based GPU in order to use it. So that means 500 series and down is a no go, and all AMD cards are a no go. EDIT: I didn't bump the thread, but I just noticed how old this thread was. >.>

It's cool beut I can play all that on my monitor.
-
Teh puma doesn't plan on buying it.
-
No 100% NO!
-
Maybe

I think the idea is interesting. It's like OnLive, but for local playing (unless you play on its dedicated innards). It has appeal, but it's not really something I would invest too heavily in. The battery life on it should be pretty good too since it's either running Android, or decoding video.

Absolutely not. I wont be buying anything with a 1 hour battery life.
-
Probably not. The streaming looks cool but if I'm that close to my computer then I'll just use my computer.

Might try it out if it lives up to the hype.
