and another thing for those people crying about the terminal glitch its not a glitch try reading the terminals not just going for the achievements its not glitch ed at all if you cant get the acheivment add me my xbox live account is Breland72 i will help anyone get there terminal achievement, used car salesmen, skulls, and anything to do with campaign

here yeah go peoples http://www.halo3forum.com/halo-3-general-discussion/164356-armor-permutations-complete-guide-pictures.html go there scroll down you can see the flaming helmet and the recon armor Its not the armor you get for unlocking the entire game or the kantana So pretty much if you see guys rocking those helmets they work for bungie pay them some respect, if i ever made a game that is played by millions i sure the hell am gonna have my own armor that no one else has and for those who got confused in the search for the recon armor and wasted time looking for it, or for those who are still looking its not bungies fault you are morons. I hate to tell you this but sometimes you just cant have it all

do medals only count on your profile when they are in free for all? cause i have played a lot of ranked matches and gotten a lot of medals i dont see on my profile. also could we get some infection games maybe on multiplayer? would be fun.

I already made a response to this story, but I guess I should have included a link to prove my point. Here's the link to my stats page, check out the screen shot, is that NOT the Recon helmet? But that's what I have, and I DO NOT work for Bungie, although I wish I did. After reading 10pgs of replys to the Bungie Weekly Update 10/12/07 And i would like to pose a question: When watching a Saved Film we are able to change the view from 1st person view to 3rd person view (or over the shoulder) with your own character. Why are we unable to do so with other players go from 3rd person view to 1st person view? I have hear in your past podcasts that the replays are simply game code being replayed by the game engine. I don't know how to respond to this, but, I have the Recon Helmet (not the body armor though) and I DON'T work for Bungie. Unfortunately, I don't know what I did either to make it available either. All I know is I checked my options after I found all the skulls and there it was there. But I have it enabled right now, you can even check my screen shot on Bungie.net to see it. I'm not a cheater or hacker, I would love for someone from Bungie to explain to me how I got it since they said it's not available to anyone who doesn't work for them? I'm confused.

Great update as always. Good to hear new maps are in the works. As for the new maps, *please* make a couple of small, "arena" maps (small and symmetric). Halo 3 is full of great maps of medium and large size. The game really needs some maps similar in spirit to Midship and Wizard/Warlock to fill the holes in its line-up.

I haven't posted in a while, but I just can't believe how many overly-sensitive members there are in this community. Bungie staff is cool but it must constantly be hard for them when there are thousands of kidz crying about armor permutations, them being "lied" too, etc., what, you think you deserve the freakin world? Seriously grow up and stop b1tching about the stupidest things.

I played in my first Halo tournament this weekend... wow I got beat up!! It was fun and I met some good gamers!! So I got to play a 41 in lone wolf 1v1 lost 14 to 15!! I almost took it. Nice update Bungie, let us have the damn helmets LOL. My first and only rumble pit game was against the guy who wone the last tournament, and I had second for quite some time! I think even though a humbling experience it was very fun. Now I have the opertunity to play with MLG guys on my friends list, how sweet!! Once more, with feeling, the part that many folks appear to have skipped: "[i]our sincere apologies to the polite folks, that we don’t have enough time to answer your question individually. We’ve had literally thousands of requests.[/i]" and "[i]There is nothing you can do to unlock it.[/i]" Nobody is doing this to aggravate you. How do they not care for the fans? a glitch? every game has glitches, gears of war, oblivion, call of duty, you name it, it has glitches. most games don't get glitches fixed, halo 2 had one of the highest amounts of downloadable updates of like any game. I really don't care about the Recon armor, etc. It would have been nice not to include this in the game so that it looked liked it was unlockable. You guys deserve your own unique identity and I respect that. Although, I'm sure that there are individuals out there that will never access bungie.net to know that it is not unlockable. They will always wonder how in the heck to unlock that one armor type that says LOCKED. This really seemed to confuse many people that are really in to the armor. IMO, it was not a great design choice. I look forward to the new maps. It would be great to have them sooner rather than later. Thanks for the excellent game that is Halo 3. Keep up the great work. Stop complaining about bugs already...i'm sure Bungie knows and is working on it. They will get around to ALL the bugs in due time...maybe its just not your bug. And also fixing a bug isn't as easy as you all seem to think...first it needs to be found, and then fixed..and even then theres a possibility of creating new bugs. Plus they are also trying to provide us with new maps...

Wow.... morons sadden me. The complaining and whining is not only unjustifiable, but it's simply stupid. Just be glad there is even a Halo to play. Bungie never lead anyone on because they never once said you CAN unlock it, they just never said you couldn't. Buck up and quit complaining or play against me and I'll give you something to complain about. @Bungie - I hope those maps include Hornets! I love them on custom games, but they'd rock on Matchmaking. Ii think its good that we dont get flames or recon armour the bungie team made the game so they should get somthin for them self's (and god people stop crying about it)what does the recon helmet even look like?If bungie wants to be conceited and "unique" fine, just give me my goddamn commando shoulders!Ouch Bungie, just ouch... Aim for the bright glowing/burning head to get a headshot!" for non-Bungie people? Like a bright blue aura or something around our heads? Either as DLC or a new achievement. I'd like to use something to make myself more of a target. It'd make some things tougher. I'm not the best nor am I close, but sometimes having a harder challenge is more fun. As for keeping things to yourself, go ahead. We can't stop you. I say keep yourselves special, especially for making such an amazing game. Good Job! If any of you would like to play sometime, just send me an invite, message, or friend request. Anyone really. I'd like to try to see how I compare to anyone from Bungie. If not, then I guess I'll just keep playing with everyone who I've been playing with. I'm looking forward to the future of Halo 3 (updates and such), as I'm sure anyone who is playing the game is as well. One last thing, how do the Commando Shoulders for the Elites get unlocked? I have the killing frenzy achievement, but no shoulders. I'm wondering, because I'm thinking of starting to switch between Spartan and Elite for each match, just to mix it up. I'd like to be able to have all current options available, but so far no luck. Thanks for making a great game! Here's to it's continued greatness!
