XxIlluminatixX, that's not an elite, that's Gravemind. Remember how Halo2 ended? Frankie says about Cortana, "But there's obviously something terribly wrong…" The thing that's terribly wrong with Cortana, i'm guessing that somehow Gravemind is using her to send transmissions. Why I think that: -You can hear a 'Gravemind groan' at the end of Cortana's first transmission -The words Cortana say sound incredibly like something Gravemind would say. -After all, Halo 2 ended whith Gravemind asking Cortana a question, that question could lead to some sort of big event in Halo 3.
