Nothing in this update could not have been seamlessly integrated into the old Bungie.net

Yes, even hashtags. This did not require an entire overall on the aesthetic and appeal of the old style. My nostalgia goggles are not on. A forum I remember from two weeks ago does not count as nostalgia. Bungie, this update was too unnecessary. Likes, being informed when quoted, following users, etc are all things people have asked for. I imagine that they imagined it being integrated into the already welcoming forums. Some may have even asked for hashtags, though I doubt that very much. My point is, why the aesthetic change? It wasn't outdated, it was unique as -blam!-. Now my mum mistakes this website for Twitter when she walks past the computer.
