IWHBYD Pathway revealed?
Ok, i think I know how to get it, or at least start us off in the right direction, but its extremely complicated:
Ok, at the very beginning of "The covenant", run past the enemies and aim your spartan laser at the anti-air wraith tank. Shot it dead so that the Hornet that spawns flys around in a large circle. Proceed to kill the enemies around you.
Next, when all the enemies are dead, equip yourself with two plasma pistols. Here's where it gets hard. You must time your shot correctly so that the hornet falls closest to the canyon wall. I was able to do it once. On the second try now, very difficult.
When your charged shot hits the hornet, the hornet should power down and begin decending. continue firing charged shots at it so that it does not repower.
When it hits the ground (it needs to hit the ground as if it were landing), jump onto its roof. If you do not do this, then the hornet will flip itself and you will die. You cannot enter the cockpit, you must be on the roof.
Now, the hornet should fly upwards if you shot it at the right spot. It will fly above the canyon wall which you shoudl now jump on. Upon jumping on the canyon wall go right. This is as far as I got. I went left which turned out to be the wrong way to go, causing me to do it again!
You cannot shoot the driver out of the cockpit, and the hornet ALWAYS spawns. There is never a time when it does not. I am currently doing it on normal difficulty.

Bleh this is retarded, started the map from the top - Got to the rings, skipped the cutscene where he kills truth, finish off all the flood, do the sequence from Halo3planet, i wrote it down on a paper and crossed out the rings i went through ... still freaking nothing. Waste of time. This is my third attempt.

I did it on Normal and halo3planet sequence worked for me. [Edited on 09.28.2007 7:22 PM PDT]

Would just like to point out me and my team were righ all along......we just never got the exact sequence.....we thought that you would have to use each ring once....and that was our mistake but we were indeed the first to try and test, and re-test, and re-test this theory....not that it matters just thought it was funny since we didnt even know about the code....we just were smart =P

The halo3planet.com sequence worked for me, just make sure you remember your rings and what number you are on.

wow seriously i thought it had nothing to do with the rings!!!!! good job to everyone on this board and on halo3planet.com. ive been reading this board sinse page 32 and some of the theorys like the music and rings i thought were crazy but thank you for proving me wrong everyone! lol

really cause when i tried the halo3planet one, it worked like a charm, you probably misjumped and had to rejump through a ring? that causes it to not work.

It does change the in-game dialogue. Not like the stuff in the cut scenes, but the random dialogue that the NPCs say. I started the first mission with the skull activated and one of the soldiers said something like "yeah, so I'm an unusually handsome man, what of it?"
