The government of P.R. has finally resolved the rampant gasoline prices. In an unexpected twist, prices are expected to drop 23 cents. That will be roughly 40 cents a gallon for consumers to pay at local gas stations, and stations like Texaco and the such. This excludes Gulf and Esso which have goverment contracts.
Good news indeed.

The media makes stuff like this seem so significant. Gas prices are not going down. Massive fluctuation in gas prices are very common. Overall, they are still going up and there's no stopping it. Drivers should stop waiting for the good old days of low-priced gas. Those days are over and they are not coming back. I predict $3.00+ prices will be the norm world-wide before the end of this year.
