Back to the basics: Your favorite songs
So, back to the basics we go. With a new site, we may as well have some basic new threads. So, our newly conjoined community, what are your favorite songs? (Yes, that means you can post multiple.)

Hmm...that's a tough one. I could go on for hours listing bands and what I love about them, but I'll try to select a few. [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EzeW5KoPUI]Casimir Pulaski Day[/url] and [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO17WyaU2mE]I Want To Be Well[/url] by Sufjan Stevens are some very emotional songs I've been listening to recently. Great lyrics. [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6xU96KLBL4]Hey[/url] by the Pixies is another great song with great lyrics. I've also been listening to Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks (Pavement's singer's new band) and The Dirty Projectors recently, but none of these artists are my favorite.

1 ReplyI like a lot of the stuff Disturbed has done, anything by Switchfoot as well. Plus I enjoy a lot of the songs that Three Days Grace has done, but I'm concerned what will happen with them now that Adam Gontier has left. Shinedown's new album is good in my opinion as well.

I love Pearl Jam's Ten Album, with my favorite being Black. Grunge is awesome in general and to those type of songs forever.
