I am wondering what other members think/feel about the fact that their followed tag(s) are visible to others.
I can envision someone attempting to harrass/bother a member by creating topics that use many, if not all, of the target members followed tags. Multiply that over an army of alts, and the targeted member will be hiding/muting a lot of accounts.
Or is the idea of seeing what tags that _____ follows important to members?

The is going to be a lot of tag manipulation. I'm interested to see what new rules or guild lines we will see in the future.

I don't really think it matters to me if people can see what tags I follow. If they start spamming those tags, every member will start seeing those threads, too, which means that they'll be harassing all the forums. That won't turn out well for them.

That seems like a LOT of work.
-
Yeah, it has potential for abuse and you should probably be able to hide it from others.
-
There are certain things people should not see me following. Also, can you delete tags, like can moderators do that if they're inappropriate?
-
I don't see why the tag system is necessary. As far as I can tell it is meant to replace the segmented forum system, with the Flood and Community forums etc. I think the old system was much, much better. As far as the danger of harassment goes I'll wait and see. I can't see it being too much of a problem. Especially as I personally won't be using the system.

The real Recon would know that the sentence should contain envisage not envision.

I dont follow tags. anyhow, I think the "popular" and "Debated" are annoying, because new topics are being ignored. P.S. I sent you a PM...
