Halo 2 Piracy
Last night a pirated copy of Halo 2 was released onto the internet. Needless to say we think this really sucks. Aside from years of hard work being stolen from us, we've gone to great lengths to ensure that the details of the Halo 2 campaign remain a mystery for players to experience for themselves on November 9th. Microsoft is currently engaged in a full scale investigation and to those foolish enough to partake in this piracy, you will soon witness the firepower of this fully operational battle station.
Members of the Bungie community - we need your help. The Underground Army is being called into action; this is not a drill. Anyone who has information regarding the leak of the game or individuals or websites promoting the download of these illegal files is asked to please contact us by sending email to [b]piracy@microsoft.com[/b] or calling 1-800-RULEGIT. We also ask that you help us minimize the spoilers for those opting to wait for the retail release by refraining from posting screens, talking about the story and deleting any such posts you encounter. Many of you have already been actively tracking down and forwarding links to us and we thank you for your help.

I wish i would have read this thread in mid october because you people floor me. Oh no someone stole a video game and it leaked out, who cares get over it. This thing happens everyday, hell i remember bootlegging starwar 1 on opening day (in theatres) in my school tech room making copy after copy. Everyday another person mods there xbox and no longer pays Microsoft to own games. People steal everyday it's life, so don't sit here and all cry about it. How many of of have ever taped a movie or have an illegal satilite in your homes? Do you cry about that ever night at the dinner table, chances are that your answer is a fat no. People that live in glass houses should not throw stones. For all the people that went on about how this has ruined your life... you need to get over it and find other intrests, sure i love my video games hell i have 3 xboxes, 2 PS2's and a Game cube with close to 60 games but halo 2 is not my life (halo is far the best game i have ever played not counting RPG's). Hell we are even lining up at 9pm at an EB Games so come midnight we will be the first ones in also we bring with us beer, food, a table and are planning to play Risk in the cold while waiting. I may have the illegal copy of halo 2 which is in french but yet i still have 2 of them on pre order, if you can't speak french then why play single player. If you have the game why be a dick and post spoilers? that i dislike, but for the most part stop all the whinning and get over it. Or is it that you are all just jealous that some of us with the knowledge and know how to soft mod an xbox have halo 2 already... And yes i realize that i have horrible grammer and spelling issues and long crazy run on sentences... And the leak of the game is for Xbox not PC. With knowledge the xbox can do some amazinf things... Chaotic Aptitude. Keep the flames down eh?
