Maybe this is a hint regarding a new Covenant species that has hair. Lots of hair. That changes colors. Maybe the two-handed Pistol Pete thing is a reference to this new Covenant species' melee attack - perhaps a two-handed -blam!- slap? The point is for everyone to try to "read between the lines". Bungie is a great company because they encourage one to think, and to realize that not everything is as it may first seem. Note to Alta: Any hair color is fine, it's your personality that makes you beautiful.
