Does Bungie.next support HTML5?

I just curious, will the new website we keep hearing about supports the latest version of HTML 5? Also, I would like to ask the reason behind the using of HTML 5 if it not so discreet to share.

 •
Posted by: T1B3R7uMB0YXVI HTML 5 is similar to Flash, but it's more of a integrated WebGL userinterface. Here's an example; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_dtejEbN6s
That's not how I would describe it. In the context you're referring to it in, it merely includes APIs (WebGL, Canvas, Audio, etc...) which renders Flash somewhat obsolete. Importantly though, this technology is now standardised and Microsoft, incredibly, is actually sticking to them this time (for the most part).
