Halo 2 Piracy
Last night a pirated copy of Halo 2 was released onto the internet. Needless to say we think this really sucks. Aside from years of hard work being stolen from us, we've gone to great lengths to ensure that the details of the Halo 2 campaign remain a mystery for players to experience for themselves on November 9th. Microsoft is currently engaged in a full scale investigation and to those foolish enough to partake in this piracy, you will soon witness the firepower of this fully operational battle station.
Members of the Bungie community - we need your help. The Underground Army is being called into action; this is not a drill. Anyone who has information regarding the leak of the game or individuals or websites promoting the download of these illegal files is asked to please contact us by sending email to [b]piracy@microsoft.com[/b] or calling 1-800-RULEGIT. We also ask that you help us minimize the spoilers for those opting to wait for the retail release by refraining from posting screens, talking about the story and deleting any such posts you encounter. Many of you have already been actively tracking down and forwarding links to us and we thank you for your help.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I'm not angry about Halo 2 being leaked.......I seriously think that the story line is exactly the same as the first one. San Andreas hasn't been leaked yet and I don't know anyone who has or has downloaded the leaked Halo 2 but from what I have heard.....it truly sucks, I will definately be buying a PS2 for SA......Has anyone had a good look at the San Andreas trailers?? the Graphics are soooooooooooooooooooooooo much more superior to Halo and Halo 2, the Halo 2 trailer that I have seen so far, the graphics are patchy and non textured properly, hey Bungie can't even make the Master Cheifs helmet visor make reflections of things in front of him. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut good bloody luck in finding this guy, I think that from what I have heard from forums etc etc that you will be very very very dissappointed. wtf does this guy think he is? ps2 is better than xbox? halo will probably have better graphics than a ps3 and i dont think a p.o.s i mean ps will ever have better graphics than halo 2 does, does this guy know wat he is saying? i mean wat kind of idiot says this kinda stuff and wats this about master chief having reflections on his helmet? its not like ppl would be going up to master chief looking for mirrors u fukking idiot it would be kinda cool if his visor did have reflections of something...and maybe it does in this finished version, but ur just a fukking moron and to bungie hopefully u find these damn pirates

it is true, the version of halo 2 only works on a modded xbox (meaning it has a mod chip installed) but they cannot save it to there hard drive because the disk is encripted. I know this because my best friend has a copy of the halo 2 game and it only works on his MODDED xbox. Don't kill me, he is the one that bought it. It is awsome tho, especally the second level where..... i let you find out!

Well, it had to happen. Its obvious that one of the most anticipated games of all time would be a target of thieves. My question is this - Why was there not enough security at the production site? For a massive AAA game to be released and have someone steal it bewilders me. Considering the Sales that this game will generate, its similar to somone stealing millions and millions of dollars from a bank with low security. Either way its a shame, but irreversable, instead why not look into why it happened and then prevent theft for any future releases. Perhaps its a good time for game developers / publishers to team up with the music industry in the fight to piracy? Eh, pinch me if I'm dreaming. I clicked on my XBL gamertag on this site and it brought up my friends and one of them was on Live with Halo 2. It has to be XBL aware.

I cannot believe someone(,something,or some group) would do such a stupid thing as to pirate such a great game(I don't really know that yet), to steal such hard work and deep thought in a disrespectful manner as you have. OMG will you all get a life, who cares if some geeks pirated halo 2, i know like 3 people in my high school who have it, my friend was tellin me about the split screens in multiplayer go down the middle and i'm like wtf no, bungie wouldbt that -blam!-, for all the work they put into it they wouldnt go -blam!- it up by spliting down the middle, then i thought there must be an option....the same friend started tellin me a few things about the campaign which i proceeded to hit him till he shut up..... he didnt say anything important, but he was a big buz kill, like most of the graphics are centered on the master chief, he also said you cant pop the warthogs tire! he said he emptied a whole clip into it and it wouldnt pop, c'mon bungie is thie true?

yeah, but everybody calm down - bungie will take care of it - its not like you have to see the screenshots or listen to the spoilers...as long as you dont listen/watch...it doesnt aaffect you except in some mind and body destroying way...but you will be fine...at least they didnt get their hands on it in like september...cause that would have had the story - just not complete bameplay
