Halo 2 Piracy
Last night a pirated copy of Halo 2 was released onto the internet. Needless to say we think this really sucks. Aside from years of hard work being stolen from us, we've gone to great lengths to ensure that the details of the Halo 2 campaign remain a mystery for players to experience for themselves on November 9th. Microsoft is currently engaged in a full scale investigation and to those foolish enough to partake in this piracy, you will soon witness the firepower of this fully operational battle station.
Members of the Bungie community - we need your help. The Underground Army is being called into action; this is not a drill. Anyone who has information regarding the leak of the game or individuals or websites promoting the download of these illegal files is asked to please contact us by sending email to [b]piracy@microsoft.com[/b] or calling 1-800-RULEGIT. We also ask that you help us minimize the spoilers for those opting to wait for the retail release by refraining from posting screens, talking about the story and deleting any such posts you encounter. Many of you have already been actively tracking down and forwarding links to us and we thank you for your help.

AAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!! AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!! I can't -blam!- believe this -blam!-!! I am an ardent reader of a Halo newsgroup through Outlook...have been ever since Halo came out, okay. Anyhow...I have been waiting for Halo 2 and saving myself from all spoilers so that I would have a pure experience on Nov 9th. Get this....some jackass posted a message with the title that says 'New Halo Warthog Movie' (I like those...no shame) so I clicked. It loaded up and before I knew it I saw this: '(outrageous spoiler!!!!)' HA HA HA I HOPE THIS SPOILED IT FOR EVERYONE THAT WAS WAITING!!!!! SUCKERS!!!' That maternal sodomizer!!! May he burn in hell!!! I seriously feel like a piece of my heard has been stolen.....WHYYYYYYY!!!!!

i work at a hollywood video and this 16 year old kid came in to exchange a game cuse he said it was to scratched up to burn on to his xbox and a asked if he had a modded box and he said yes i then asked if he had the halo2 pirated version he said yes and i didnt belive him so he said his modded box was in the car so he brought it in and hooked it up to one of the tvs and yes he -blam!- had it allright and you know i could not held but pick up a controller and i played about 5 mins of the new blood glulch which is awsome jacked his banshee and then i asked were he downloaded the pirate version and he said a friend of his worked for bungie!!!!!! and he sent it to him on a disc!!! he would not give me this (friends) name so i was un able to leak the bungie mole but i did get the dudes account info at hollywood video were i work and im gonna report it to microsoft bungie i am so sorry for even looking at it let alone playing 5 mins please forgive me i just didnt belive this guy but i did report his thieveing ass BUNGIE RULES HALO2 RULES I LOVE YOU BUNGIE and yes i did my duty sir!!

I just been today to an xbox store ((xr)) and then when they repear my xbox,,i just saw,,,,while waiting,,,,,,, someone playing halo ,,,,something chosing his halo 2 level(((Paramitre------Facele-moyen-))))and i saw a giant turtle---in metropol----------if you need help i can help you,,,,,,,,i know this guy---------------

I found out that it isnt a emulator game it is a game u dlwd on a chip and u play on xbox wich makes it even worse im afraid that they will ruin it for us....

SOB. myself and others in the south are very distraut at the discovery that halo has been pirated we will do all we can to ensure that spoilers do not come about to the halo fans in our area as this will be a very unfortunate event. May these pirates be made an example of by the legal staff of microsoft. These people have discrased themselves and for this mercy should not be given to them. Be assured that where I am until November 9, halo 2 will remain a mystery. Gladly reporting for duty, the Clown of Hell P.S. having just been informed that you have flaming ninjas, i think this is very cool, but this could also be a fire hazzard. Always be sure to have smoke detectors for your safety as well as fire extinguishers at hand because loosing the creators of somepthing so magnificent would be a horrible thing.

This is what you guys at Bungie get for taking so long on one game that is going to fall a mile short of all the hype it is getting. Its just a game and I feel sorry for all you people who live and base your whole day,week,and year off this game. Thats really sad. Go do something constructive. You can play this game every minute of your life and when you die there will be nothing, no proof that you ever existed. I feel sorry for you who waste your short lives playing video games and living in fake worlds. If you only read three words in this whole post let it be these ----- get a life -------

If I ever find out who is responcible for this affront to the greatness of Halo me and the AK are going on a field day. Come on, the rest of us normal people have been waiting ever since Halo and someone has to ruin it for us. People like that should be dragged out into the middle of the street, stripped naked, and shot in the mouth with a .44 Magnum. Bungie, if there is anything I could do, dont hesitate to ask.
