Halo 2 Piracy
Last night a pirated copy of Halo 2 was released onto the internet. Needless to say we think this really sucks. Aside from years of hard work being stolen from us, we've gone to great lengths to ensure that the details of the Halo 2 campaign remain a mystery for players to experience for themselves on November 9th. Microsoft is currently engaged in a full scale investigation and to those foolish enough to partake in this piracy, you will soon witness the firepower of this fully operational battle station.
Members of the Bungie community - we need your help. The Underground Army is being called into action; this is not a drill. Anyone who has information regarding the leak of the game or individuals or websites promoting the download of these illegal files is asked to please contact us by sending email to [b]piracy@microsoft.com[/b] or calling 1-800-RULEGIT. We also ask that you help us minimize the spoilers for those opting to wait for the retail release by refraining from posting screens, talking about the story and deleting any such posts you encounter. Many of you have already been actively tracking down and forwarding links to us and we thank you for your help.

Poor Bungie. How annoying. -_- And poor me, too. Having to avoid spoilers for the next month. Better smash my PC so I'm not tempted to read any threads entitled "OMG!!1 HAl0 2!!!." *Nods* No worries, though... I'm buying 4 copies on launch day, hopefully along with millions of others. This is truly sickening. What kind of pudgy, pimply faced, slack-jawed, inbred 32-year-old-living-in-mom's-basement sorry excuse for a human would do this?! I hope whoever he/she/it/they are, they are brought to justice. And I'll do my part, by buying a second copy of Halo2 on top of my preordered one =) (yeah I know, thats kinda ridiculous, but I already have 2 Xbox, so what the hey. Then I'll be able to play system link games that much easier!)

I would like to help, but I don't know where to look...I've done the obvious searches, but I figure someone that Pirated Halo 2 wouldn't be so dense....also, Microsoft and Bungie I'm sure have already checked such pages. I know many of you have file sharing tools (WinMX, Kaaza, whatever.) Use those kind of tools agains them too. Use google and any other brilliant methods you can come up with... The suprnova mods are actually being smart about this and not letting the Halo 2 torrent up. They had one earlier which they deleted and are now not allowing any more to go up. I've already submitted 3 sites which have it. I feel bad ratting out good torrent sites, but this is Halo 2. It really pissed me off that some people will have beaten the entire game by the time it comes out.

Goddammit!!!! the nerve of some people.. I feel with all you great guys who worked your asses of on what sees to be a f***ing great game. But you can be sure that most fans will BE LOYAL! and purchase the game legally, and by that giving our support to U gyus. Wich i'm sure will someday bring us another great game. Well, I knew some B@#$ would attempt to do this, they knew some F@#$ would attempt to do this, but what they hadn't anticipated is that they will pay for doing this! I can't believe some jerk would do such a thing as to rip off the greatest game ever created, (aside from Halo 3, 4, ect, if they have one...Which we will find out on November 9th based on the story which those F@$# now already know and ripped off) and I will do my part to help. I would never rip Halo 2 off! I have already preordered, and I will make them pay! So everybody, "Give em Hell Marines!"
