The Tru7h About Co-Op in Halo 3
You've asked a thousand times, we've done all we can. Now we're finally answering the question: "Will Halo 3 have online co-op?"

This is insane... as if halo 3 needed anything else already... I am not exaggerating when i say this is easily game of the decade or even the next decade as well......... now i have to go through the torture of waiting for september 25th to roll around. hmm i am wondering tho if online coop will make achievements easier to get...

[b]PLEASE READ[/b] well the thing is elites arent too bad of an idea but..come on. you know the campign games are never going to start because everyones gonna argue "i wanna be the cheif!!!!!" and so on. so i think the elite thing is a good idea if they are an option. i think the options should be, cheif, marine, and the other 3 types of elites or maybe more than one option of marine and for the chief it should be the choices of his new armor in multiplayer. come on bungie. please!!!!!!

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 player online co op!!!! I call the purple one!!!! This is going to be awesome. Sqaud based combat where we can all take a role and fight like a team its just what ive been praying for. Thanks Bungie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I'm getting my old one replaced (thanks a lot, Forza 2), and it's taking a lot longer than I anticipated. And I just sent it out today!

IM thinking, perhaps the reason why in co-op (as of now) you cant play as a marine, is perhaps because the marines (besides Johnson) dont quite trust the elites enough? But Master Chief has had experiences w/ the Arbiter (albeit few) so he knows they share a common goal. I love this announcement, more for the system link than for the online co-op. Because while Bungie may add plenty of baddies to keep four players busy, some of my only friends that have live are too good and it would be quite boring, however, when my other friends come over, although I am a bit better than them (and yes, yes, i understand that Halo 3 is not Halo 2, so dont yell at me for that), we're more equal and we focus more on the enjoyment of the game than beating it as fast as possible. That's what excites me. And who ever said that this Friday's update is going to rock, I do believe you are correct. Man, I just...Bungie, you have my heart.

may i just say that while many of us have been expecting 4 player coop its just not the same as actually having it confirmed and.....I FREAKIN LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH...sorry lol i do have one question though why not another Spartan like Linda or Kelly or one of them because that would be sweet and no i am not ashamed to reveal that i would gladly play as a girl spartan.....its not that big of a deal it just wouldve been cool to play as one of the other spartans ..oh yea i also wanted to put my opinion of one of the reason replayability will be high...maybe the achievements will be like in Gears of War where you have to play through the entire campaign as each character to get all the achievement points...hmm MAYBE SO MUWahaHAHAHAHAHAH
