Foundry, Forgeries and Fun

Cheese-filled alliteration aside, we're obviously paying close attention to the Forge-based shenanigans that have been transpiring on the Internet and in the interest of trying to herd the cats of creation into a single file line, please post your best Forge Variants here, with well-written and descriptive depictions of your map. Paint with your words, like you've painted on Foundry's canvas. I've cross-posted text from another Forge/Gametypes thread here on the Forums. Do apply the format to Foundry specifically and go to town. We're watching, anxious to see your creations. [b][url=http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=13209070]Rebound, a Re-imagination of Snowbound[/url] Designed with Symmetrical-arena style slayer play in mind, Rebound takes elements of Snowbound that previously turned the map into an interior camping battle, like the Shotgun, and awards both teams a Shotgun in their respective bases. Weapon sets have been made close to identical on both sides of Snowbound in an attempt to remove the tendency of players to crouch camp underneath. This map is ideal for 2-10 players. [/b] [i]How to make these posts. 1. Create a gametype and map variant, upload these to your File Share. 2. Publish the Gametype and Map variants to the forums, save the links to those threads. 3. Create post in this thread, and link to the Map variant and Gametype at the Publish to Forums link here [this way players can easily click those links and download your gametypes. 4. Create a well-written explanation of changes made to the map and if necessary a description of the gametype you've created, including ideal number of players, number of teams (if necessary) and any other relevant information. Please write as clearly and coherently as possible. 5.   • [b]Dodgeball arena and varient[/b] Both can be found in slots 13 and 14 of my file shares. [b]MAP[/b] The map is based in foundry and is quite simply a closed off area creating a dodgeball arena where players can not travel to the opposing teams side. This is achieved by using the Window items as sort of a shield between the 2 sides. This allows players to see each other and throw grenades. each half of the "dodgeball arena" consists of 6 fusion coils per side to spice things up a bit. [b]Rules[/b] The dodgeball rules are very familiar to the actual rules of a dodgeball game, with a halo twist of course, and halo limitations taken into consideration. each player has 5 lives. when a player dies he cannot respawn for 60 seconds or untill a team mate kills an enemy, which ever occurs first. player shields do not recharge automatically, you will recieve a recharge based on 10% of any damage you inflict on an enemy. players start with 2 x overshield. players have an unlimited amout of grenades and start with just a pistol. the winner is the team which takes all enemy lives first. to win you must kill each opponent 5 times to drain there lives, this allows for players individual performance to effect the game, rather than one bad player or good player determin the outcome of a game. This game would be ideal for double experience weekend because it gives everyone a chance to earn double exp, rather than just the better players who get matched up against poor players. the game requires skill, luck and a good grenade throwing ability. in addition to this, the game is also alot of fun, me and a few friends and guests have had endless fun playing this game and when you die it gives you a anxious and exciting rush watching team mates try to score kills for you to come back in. you have to be alert at all times and is filled with none stop action. try it out, share some videos, and let us know if you enjoyed it.
