So I bought a pair of Studio Beats by Dre...
...From my friend for $100. They work perfectly, too. Do you think this was a good deal? I sure as hell think it is!

Beats aren't amazing headphones for their price, but for the $100 range it isn't that bad of a deal. Hell, since they're a big brand you probably could flip them online or to another friend for a bit more and pocket the profits.
