  • Yes we do. The beta was amazing Bungie. Now I have to go back to Halo 2 until September (Although it is satisfying to stay up until 5 a.m. and win 11 out of 13 Hardcore games). Nevertheless, not sleeping to play the beta was even more awesome. And in the post...you were right, us Halo players will get somewhere if we want to(my favorite being all the redness outside Valhalla, it was as if Moses himself was a forerunner). Although I hardly believed those words in postgame lobby telling me how to get into a custom game and play with gravity, speed, swords, and pistols. Glitches have always been a part of halo and always seem to add to playability (BxR, Doubleshot). There was only one thing with the Beta that even frationally peed me off....i wanted to pause, rewind, and fast orward saved games, but I perservered and my montage came out great. The maps were great, as were the weapons/vehicles, and respawning was either great of awful depending on who was holding what position. It was all amazing and just makes me more anxious to play the full game. Thanks Bungie. (Why was Team Skirm taken out and replaced with ranked and unranked equivalents of BTB?....just a little question)

  • wat i dont understand is if they have that sky to show the detail and depth of their levels...why have it in the first place if u cant even get to the black skies without glitching? wtf?

  • Territories is fun? HA! Me and my friends vetoed it every chance we got. I know we aren't the majority, but its about as fun counting rice grains. Back to the Slayer settings in Skirmish: who's genius idea was that? You're damn right it shows up too much. It shouldn't show up at all. Just reiterating my main gripes. I enjoyed most everything else.

  • Cool. I can't wait to see how you blocked players from getting out of the maps. I just wished you commented on custom games and the Beta code reading, oh well. One last thing I would love to see, aerial views of each map showing the highest death spots. I would love to see how many people died outside the map on Valhalla.

  • i like how they were talking about the "Huge secret" of space in valhalla. Once they fix the little butt-crack in valhallas thats done. I wish they had talked more abut custom games though. I played 49 customs, lol. [Edited on 06.13.2007 7:14 PM PDT]

  • Yeah,custom games were pretty sweet,except i made my own game by doing the whole press x twice thing to copy and save someone elses game and make it my own(and thanks for adressing the whole getting out of the planet thing on Valhalla with the banshee Bungie! It was very fun though.)

  • thanx bungie:) the carbine was a tiny bit strong. near the end of beta it seemed to go more into a BR carbine fest, dooming all users of other weapons. lol if you wanna stop them getting out, put a layer of auto turrents, about 10 invisible walls, then about 10 walls of death, then a few heretic leaders with dual missile pods, then a wall that bans you when you reach it. should stop them:)

  • for 816 years not so surprising think about it 1 second for 1 person with 10,000 other peeps on=teh massive amount of time, thats about 20 min in 1 second imagine how much time was in H2 so far =O its unfreakin believable(spoof of overkill saying in H2) [Edited on 06.13.2007 7:58 PM PDT]

  • The one gametype that should have been brought up is king of the hill. The matches I played seemed like a bore and went by to fast. Plus that hill graphic is huge and impossible to see through. Everything else was great. Especially VIP.

  • Wow 816 years. Please give some more beta stats (ranks achieved, game types played, total matches, kills, etc.) A few constructive comments: It seemed to me that the movement of the Spartan has been slowed compared to H2. It was a noticable difference when I went back and played H2 after the beta ended. I like the quicker movement in H2. The warthog is way too hard to kill. Without the laser, your team is doomed (the missle launcher didn't cut it). Even a plasma grenade stick will not disable it. The Spartan laser is awesome. The shotgun is too dominating on Snowbound. The tunnels were controlled by whoever held it. Thanks Bungie for the great opportunity to participate in the beta and give feedback like this. Other than some tired days at work, it was worth every minute!!!

  • Thank the GODS!!!! Map breaking pisses me off... In Halo 2 somekids like to mess with me and keep jumping in and out of maps while sniping me... I wanna sock those muthuh -blam!- in the -blam!- mouth... Of course I get back at them REALLY good... Thanks bung, I've been waitn for this... Oh yeah and about that Single Player Demo... Well I'd like that BEFORE the game comes out please...

  • I think the only real problem with Territories was the duration of the match. Four rounds is too long. Simply two would have sufficed in my opinion. Either way, the offense/defense aspect made it better than Territories in Halo 2.
