Design an Emblem Contest Winner Revealed
Amidst waves of entries, one swashbuckled and spliced its mainbrace above the rest. That's not to say other entries didn't [i]inspire [/i]us, though.

The pirate is cool, but it's not very creative. I'd definitely like to see more options in Halo 3. What were the runner ups? Perhaps they should be included too. [Edited on 06.05.2007 3:05 PM PDT]

I would have chosen either of those as the winner. Personally, I like the Ring of Death the best. The flames do add a good touch.

It's what I sent in,and it may be one of those ones that a lot of people sent in. I'm not sure though since I haven't really seen anyone else mention making it. Or Bungie won't use it because of the fact that it really isn't "original" hehe. But who wouldn't want a parachute on there shoulder eh? EDIT: Oh,and I don't mind for the winner,I think it looks pretty good,I'm just saying that the Helljumper's emblem might be one of the "other" emblems that will appear in the game. I hope it is. Just seconding the opinion expressed already, someone from MS legal might want to make sure that you guys made the winning logo "not look enough" like the logo for the Oakland Raiders. The NFL is about as militant about trademark infringement as MS is.

I agree, the runner's up should be displayed for Bungie.net user's viewing ejoyment, and to give props to those that were recognized. Like Ben...what's his last name?

Bungie should have picked their favorite emblem, then Bungie should have picked ten runner's up, then allowed bungie.net users to decide from those ten. Have one new emblem decided by the creators of Halo, and one emblem decided by the fans of Halo. Congratulations to Noah Watkins!

Looks Okay, but Pirates, ninjas, swords, patch over the eye...that's original? I thought we'd see something that would stand alone from all of the other emblems. Looks like Bungie is sticking with what works. Maybe the Bungie team really liked Disney's new movie. Sorry this emblem looks too much like five other emblems from Halo 2. Contests cannot satisfy everyone. Congratulations to Noah Watkins! I know you must have flipped out, you're design is going to be forever charished by a world of Halo fans. Yes, I'll use it.

It's OK but I really would have liked to see something different. That one just reminds me of the Spartan helmet.
