Design an Emblem Contest Winner Revealed
Amidst waves of entries, one swashbuckled and spliced its mainbrace above the rest. That's not to say other entries didn't [i]inspire [/i]us, though.

Wow... I thought we were going for something original, since a large part of the judging score would be based on creativity, but i guess I've never seen an emblem like that before. I just assumed that someone at bungie would be logical enough to design that logo themselves but i guess they need to search all over America for something that cool. ;)

The emblem is simple and effective and counterparts the ninja emblem. So seriously, shut up, its a good emblem. Well done Noah. Oh yeah, wouldnt mind seeing the runner ups at least, would be good bungie.

UMM, BUNGIE GUYS- you do realize that the winning emlem you picked looks just like a copywrited emblem for a profesional football team, ever heard of the Oakland Raiders?, the NFL might be a little mad if you put that in your game without asking them first, and plus the Raiders suck big time!

I don't know which one they liked... so I'm showing them all. I personally like the tribal looking one but i did this all on a whim. Hope you guys like. Also the pirate is cool, Congrats. Do you remember The New Mombassa from Halo 2, or the E3 trailer where Master Chief was standing looking at the massive forerunner structure? That was Kenya, and that's in Africa. What better represents Africa than an elephant. Why would Bungie pick a pirate and an elephant for the top two entries. Thats dumb. The dice and the skull with the two plasma swords better even if it was too detailed they could have modified it to look cool and less detailed. Bungie im sorry but you picked the wrong winner. ):

Here's my emblem, I got 2nd place. Kyle Corcoran [url=http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/3775/africanelephantei1.jpg][b]African Elephant[/b][/url] I decided to go with an African Elephant due to the setting of Halo 3. Halo 3 and Halo 2 both include a lot of places from Africa and I thought that an elephant represented that perfectly. Mine was completely original, I drew it out from my own interpretation of an elephant. I thought the emblem had to do with the halo universe, as stated in the rules, and couldn't resemble any previous emblems. I guess they like Pimps at Sea more than Africa, haha. Maybe it will get included in the Final game, or maybe they'll hold a vote for a second winner... either way, that's my entry. Congrats to Noah for the Pirate, arrrr! Total rip off of oakland raiders symbol...You may not use any existing corporation’s logos, trademarks or other identifiable images...thats what the rules were. Bungie just picked it cause of pimps at sea. They should of modified it to not be a "corporations logo" I liked [url=http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t298/ospativan/soffishemblem.gif]my rendition of soffish[/url], though I know they could of tweeked it (I'm not that good at drawing on the computer).
