  • 1. Can you tell us right now if there will be online co-op for campaign? 2. Will there be another aircraft to pilot other than the Banshee? Because I saw a medal for when someone boarded the Banshee and the medal's description said "Board an Aircraft." 3. For the MVP, you should have the game pick one MVP from both teams. 4. Will there be the regular version of territories besides the new one? I don't particullarly care for the new version. 5.   • The Beta WAS fun and wish i could remember what it was like but my 360 came down with a case of the 3 RED LIGHTS yesterday. Looks like the Beta will be over before I get it back. I do like Sp4rki's idea about melee. I have found that you have to be more accurate with you attack because of the delay between melee and other weapons as well. You don't lunge forward like you did in Halo 2.

  • Can we possibly get a detailed description of what the MVP medal is based on? Is it really just a consolation prize for the "best" player on the losing team?

Matchmaking would then go out and find the available games and put you in the closest according to the normal matchmaking algorithm, no matter which playlist that game is actually in. This is a request, not a question: Please make the trip mine silent (or at least way more quiet), smaller (harder to see), and "stickier". The trip mine doesn't stick well to anything unless you put it on a stationary vehicle, and it's so loud the only time people die from it are new players who don't know what it is, or if someone drops it in the middle of a big battle. It's tactically useless against anyone that knows it can be blown up by being shot or 'naded. And since it takes a second or two to arm before it will actually blow up (and since it doesn't stick), you can't use it one on one aganist a player, or against a vehicle at the last second (it won't stick to the vehicle and they'll just run over it before it arms and run you over also. Basically it's only tactical use is to place it at the end of a man-cannon jump (if you can call that tactical), as a warning system in the base (they'll have to blow it up alerting you to their presence), to deny access to a vehicle, or (as seen in the Bungie video) to drop it when a vehicle is charging at you and you have time to deploy and let it arm before they get there... and even then a good driver would be able to turn in time. Thanks again for a great game![/quote] Yeah, I agree with everything he said, and I'm gonna add some stuff too. I have no doubt you guys have noticed this, but Snowbound almost always gets vetoed. What will be changed in Snowbound to make it more...(searching for adjectives) interesting? The only advantage that it offers at the moment is a ghost, but the ghost can't do much with all the hills and obstacles. Also, people can still get ghosts inside of the underground through a certain unshielded tunnel. Will that tunnel be shielded later?

  • Apologies if someone's answered this, but I've tried hijacking mongooses three times, and I always just jump on the back. Granted that's pretty funny, but will we be able to actually hijack it in the final game? Also, when you hijack the drivers seat in a warthog, the turret can still shoot at you. Was this done on purpose? Because it takes the point out of stopping a warthog with a hijack if you just immediately die.

(Silly Americans...)[/quote] Olan and chino28 you are the ones at fault here, bungie has released all the previous halo games in november halo 2 on november 9th 2004 and halo 1 on november 15 2001. So whether you live in the horrible place that is great britain or not chino, J9er4ic1o and ll StPeter ll point that bungie is breaking tradition still stands (silly british...)   • I noticed that while dual weilding you can still use the X-button to drop whatever special equipment you are holding.. that seems like a bug (what hand is he dropping it from.. or does it just fall off his backside?). Instead, as an idea I propose that while dual weilding the X-Button becomes your left handed melee. I love the new control style LB for left reload RB for right.. I think by using the left (blue/x) skittles button for left melee and right (red/b) for right melee fits the new scheme well.. and can add some crunchy melee combinations. What do you think of the X Button being the left handed melee when dual weilding?

  • I just want to know why there is a push to talk button in halo 3. All 360 voice enabled games allow you to talk to your entire team without pushing a button. I feel very vulnerable when pushing it in combat. Also I find that the noise that it makes when you do push to talk really hurts your ear and i have to lower my volume. This makes it harder to hear the sort of quieter people that talk.

  • Will Bungie change the Plasma Rifle effects back simular to Halo CE? Nobody has asked this question yet because NOBODY is picking up this weapon. It needs to be worked on or removed. The slowdown effect in CE was pretty cool. Can you put a delay on people who are duel wielding and melee or trying to throw a grenade? Seems to me that, why not duel wield all the time since I get more firepower and if I need to melee or throw grenade its still instant, so its a win win situation. But your in a losing situation if your not duel wielding. (Its still a big improvement over Halo 2). Can you eliminate sum of the weapons that have the same affect...SMG,Spiker,plasma rifles? Nothing special about using them, not unique. Will the Sword have a use limit (like Halo2 campaign)? Will the Sword's Lock on distance be shortened? Never made sense that because I held a sword that I now can magically warp to my opponent and slice but i cant lunge forward wit any other weapon. Take the lunge away and put a usage limit on it, should be perfect! BTW...Love the Needler! Its about time! keep that in mind with the magnum please, Halo CE magnum to powerful, Halo2 magnum to weak.

  • Alright! Is the plasma sticky to warthogs less damaging, or do you now have to be more precise of where the sticky is placed? Is the banshee a bit harder to use in ground troop attacks purposely or is it me? What's up with terroritories? round based? WTF? Not feeling that. Why is there still dual wielding but not with certain weapons from H2? Balance? Why only 2 grenades holding for each type? 4 anyone? Does the trip mine's sensors only read ground troops running DIRECTLY over it and not EXTREMELY near it? Is there some snipe bullet glitching happening with the map geometry? I'm feeling some shots are hitting me when I'm SURE I've placed myself behind a large boulder or similar structure in the heat of the moment. Not every time at all. But sometimes. Were bomb games made to have the bomb automatically plant? This makes bomb rounds easier to win as long as it gets there. Do KOTH games have team multiplier on or off? It should say so on the pre game screen and if it already does, call me stupid. And that's all for now.

  • Another question: Is there any chance of having a toggle microphone rather than one that turns itself off? or have the option to? This is because i am one of those people who play there music really loud and everyone can hear a weird buzzing thing that annoys the hell out of me, let alone the people on the other end. Having a toggle means that i can manually turn off the microphone when I've finished speaking. This would save me from being muted and the other players loosing out on my valuable experience with hints and tips. Thanks

  • Maybe nobody has noticed this, I haven't seen it anywhere in the forums...but it seems when you have the toggle crouch setting on, it is impossible to crouch jump to higher places. I've tried to jump to higher platforms in High Ground that require a crouch jump over 50 times, and i've never landed it. When I switch back to normal hold crouch, I land this jump every time. Anyone else notice this?
