yeah but you had a small fraction of the people downloading at the same time compared to tomorrow. Bungie only has so many resources when it comes to servers and band with. The more people downloading, the slower it gets. I'm not trying to be an ass, I mean I hope it's a fast download. Haha this is going to drive me crazy!

I got to say I completely agree but why are they releasing is at 5 AM / 8AM EST?????? Why not midnight!? This download will be sooooooo slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww can you imagine after an hour only being at 7%.......900 MB!? It's going to be the hardest part. I can see it now....Come on 360! Go faster internet! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Beautiful.....

Dude only 20 hours 44 min and 30 sec until the beta, holy crap this is going to be the Achievement of my life..... that is until the game comes out. I think the Spartan Laser is awesome and so is the weildable chain gun, rocket launcher, equipment, and pretty much everything I havee seen so far. I hate that there is only going to be 3 maps but I can live with it. If you don't love HALO you should go kill yourself.

Yeah the chain gun is sweeeeet. It is tripod mounted then you get behind it to shoot (like turret), hit red button to pick it up and walk (really slow) and shoot!

I would like to point out that I wish at least one thing Halo had in it's multiplayer action is to have a map going from day to night like from going from dusk to dawn. To see the sun setting as teams still battling it out going into the night. Looking at the lights from buildings or poles illuminate the night. Or seeing parts of the armour light up at night, then watching it all go straight into the day...awesome. The maps also need some disrubtion to break up tactics from teams like the Flood, or brutes just attacking each team messing up gameplay. Just need background enteraction that's all. Not so much for the Beta, but for when the actual game ships.

[/quote] No, there is no warthog like that, not in the maps we play in the beta. The missile pod itself is just an entire separate gun, but is big like the turret. And the turret isn't taken off the warthog, btw, it's taken from a stationary area on the ground.

Oh well i got crackdown so i could play the beta, downloaded the new halo 2 maps and saw the new pics i can honestly say its been a Haloriffic Day. :)

They're pretty cool, but the only map that it's on in the Beta is Valhalla. I know quite a few people who are on the in with bungie, and none of them got a F & F invite. And with all the people speaking out about being disappointed for not getting the F & F invite. How many F & F invites were sent out because nobody I can find has gotten one. I was wondering if there is anybody out there willing to admit that they got a F & f invite. They don't need to say there code or anything. I just want to see somebody who got a F & F invite. Also Luke, Nice job covering for Frankie. I look forward to more of your posts. Also nice Mr. Chief but I am sorry to say it wasn't "Mr. Chief." You should creat your own foe-halo character. Maybe a spin on Cortana, Johnson, or The Arbitr. Oh well if you do we will have to compare your masterpieceses to the extreme talent of Frankie. Good Job : )
