i agree, this game is going to be amazing. i'm more excited for this than i was for halo 2. this game looks so much more solid than halo 1 and 2.

The character with the red body and white head isn't the only multi-colored spartan shown in the video. If you watch carefully near the end of the video, there is a character with mixed pink and green armor running up a staircase, and then jukes proceeds to own him with a brute shot.

Outstanding video, one thing i knowticed that i dont think has been pointed out yet was the weired rocket shots at 1:22 in the video watch the right screen, shots are off for some reason. [Edited on 05.11.2007 7:57 AM PDT]

The white head red body guy is in a regular slayer gametype so it isn't some special jugernaut thing going on. also I don't think anybody else noticed it but at 1:24 he picks up an unknown piece of equipment.. it shows up on the hud as an X (sort of) and its not the shield grenade, trip mine, or the lift because they all look different and have a different symbol. Through prowling through google I found out its called the Power Drainer.. but thats all I really know.. I assume it drains shields. [Edited on 05.11.2007 8:14 AM PDT]

I always thought Halo 3 already looked great, but after watching this video I can only see that Halo 3, in state of the video, is already better looking then any other console FPS out there. The textures are very sharp, the lighting is incredible, the physics and animation look great and the new materials and shaders make things like the snow and walls look really fabulous.

I cannot wait to play this. I might have to go and buy Crackdown just to play the Halo beta. It looks awesome. Props to Jukes on the video!

Man my next week is gonna be awesome! Me and my cousin are going to the Godsmack concert on Tuesday night, then Halo 3 Beta comes out the next day, hell yeah! What more could a guy ask for? Did you guys see some new stuff in there? The disposable gravity lift was friggin' awesome, there was a part in there where the guy got a killimanjaro, and then towards the end of the video before the laser part, look towards the distance where a couple of warthogs are parked down at the beach, there is a large round circular fence surrounding something, it looks like the stuff the bubble shield is made out of, but it doesn't have the dome on top of it. Anyone else notice that? I'll have to look back at the video and see exactly what time frame that was on. Anyways, nice vid. and can't wait to play! Halo 3 here we come!

Wouldn't it be funny if you found out that the Captain Slapahoe Halo 2 videos were actually made by Steve Ballmer? I mean "funny" in the OMG-it-really-is-the-apocalypse sense of the word.
