• Man, grifball weekends use to be fun when people were just hearing about it, and the games were fair, every game full of fun and laughter and excited shouting. Now its just like the rest of halo, with people playing who probably practice it on their own time and then go in with friends and destroy. Leave it to competitive people to ruin another great fun gametype. I got on today, had to sit through a game where four people continuously bashed me and my friends for no reason, saying all sorts of really immature rude things. And maybe its just connection, but does anyone else ever find themselves standing 10 feet away from a guy, and you swing your hammer, and it does nothing, but they, still standing at same distance, swing their hammer and kill you? Or the "I'm five feet from the goal, in the air even, but heck lets just give the team a point anyway since they are so close to it, yet I've been stepping on that plate, ball in hand, like Godzilla steps on Tokyo, and nothing happens. I'm not getting mad at Bungie, I love halo, but man I wish those sorts of things were not so common in an online game. My router is only a few feet away, so I just can't see how there can be any interference. Phwew, just had to let off some steam. Perhaps someone else shares my thoughts on the matter and knows my pain.
