Bungie Weekly Update
This week there is a LOT of information. You pretty much have to read this one. Seriously.

Redo the song at the start of the podcast? The one that (at the time) Frankie was saying would be great as a ringtone? NEVER!!! (but if you must, I suppose I can live with it.)

WHAT DOES PM MAILBOX MEAN!? I have been in the same matchmaking search for 20 minutes!?

I cannot wait to see the first cinematic of Halo 3. The multiplayer will be one thing, but the thing that grabbed me the most about the game was the game itself. The characters weve come to known, and the universe weve become a part of. I'm gonna guess from the talk about a space battle that the Master Chief fights his way to the control room aboard the prophets ship and maybe kills him. Maybe he just braces for impact during the first level of the game and lets the landing kill the prophet lol. It will be awesome, and I can tell Bungie understands what this game means, that it may be Halo's goodbye unless more amazing stuff comes to follow. Even if Peter Jackson's game and Halo Wars do well, I think most people will always remember Halo being about an elite Spartan called the Master Chief, who fought against many to do his duty that he was trained to do all his life. The friends and family thing sounds pretty cool,I'm already guaranteed for beta( at least i hope this Crackdown thing works when the times comes) but I'm interested to see what will make the friends and family thing so special. If we'll get to play against friends and family lol. HUMPDAY: BUNGIE VS FRIENDS AND FAMILY. It could happen...

Thankyou for all the great memories on Friday-Saturday with my buddies. Thankyou for the late nights, and the groggy mornings. Thankyou for the bad grades on my homework because i spent all night playing halo. Thankyou for the memories after school on bungie.net. Thanks bungie. Notice: this is not a suck up attempt. And even if it was, i still wouldnt get into the friends and family thing because it's already been decided.

Great update. I don't care that we didn't really learn anything new, I just like to hear about the progress. I also like how some of the people who made the first page just scanned the update for any keywords like "beta" or "Friends and Family" and then posted something like "can't wait for the beta" or "hope I get a Friends and Family invite". If getting onto the first page means anything to you, then chances are you haven't seen daylight for a while.... ZOMG VAMPIREZ!!

Thanks Fargoth for the answer. To Everyone, Good luck to all to get the invite. We have all spent hours playing Halo 1 and Halo 2, our significant other may have been mad that we ignored their call one too many times. It was worth it every time, especially if you have that darn red teams flag. We have all had this experience and we all can't wait to play this next generation Halo extravaganza and yes I'll be the first to say that I would a very happy person if I got the invite. But for those who do get the invite, PLEASE don't ruin it for those who must wait five more days and please don't rub it in our faces. Be kind about this kind of matter because I think each and everyone of us are on the edge of our seats waiting for this thing to come out. So once again I say, Good Luck too all! It's not likely I'd win a code to get the beta early, but you never know. I'm on these forums every night so maybe I'll luck out. Anyway, this update wasn't too shabby. I can't wait for the beta so many rumors on the forum will die.
