Bungie says there will be no sprint feature.[/quote] that meter? yeah thats his energy shield..... everyone assumes its a sprint bar for some reason, probably because it recharges faster. but its the ONLY gauge on the screen, meaning its the energy shield.

the mobile turret might not even make the game, it would be pretty dam powerful, none the less i think its deployable, in the vidoc when they are talking to tom doyle about the assault rifle he has a warthog turret sitting on a tripod in a test level, how much more deployable can you get.

seriously why do people keep posting these things after FRANKIE said what the x button does. For those of you who dont know, Frankie is one of the many people MAKING HALO 3. the X button DEPLOYS EQUIPMENT. I also believe that during a press conference or in a magazine somewhere someone from bungie confirmed that there is no sprint function. Either way the x button deploys equipment, it DOES NOT sprint. Read the second post on the second page of this forum. Its from Frankie. Trust me read it if you want to know what the x button does. EDIT: if the customizing features are similar in halo 3 they could have set the flag carrier speed higher, just like in halo 2..... [Edited on 04.11.2007 8:11 AM PDT]

If you look closely, in this frame the guy lifts his thumb in a direction that appears away from the X-button and soon after presses the A-button. At 2:54, the bar in the middle of the screen starts to fill back up, and logically, based on earlier assumptions and this evidence, it can be concluded that the X-button feature is indeed a super-dash. Not like we didn't know that already, but hey just proving a point. :) ..................................................................................................... couldnt get quote to work I think this guy is right but you can only run with flag cuase that guy halls balls after he lands from then jump. It makes sense instead of throwing the flag sprint with it. You should still be able to pick them off while running too. O and what about a dash throw would the falg go extra far. I also belive that the is a mini grav lift it doesn make sense for them to put it there. Maybe the turrent will be a 4 option or a hold weapon like someelse states. So Awsome ! I love how you can now pause time and watch other players on the map, rewind head shot's and watch them again in slo mo ! even if the graphics are alpha thay still look fantastic in places, allthough the spartam hitting the water after he got sniped, was lacking a splash on impact,lol. Love the video. The minigun looks nice, and ofcourse all of the other new stuff, except the sniper's scope. I like the halo 2 camera scope better than the halo ce.

He isnt DEPLOYING it in the sense that he is setting up a stationary gun, he is using it just like any other weapon. So it would not seem to be an X button deployable item, as they are one use things, rather than a weapon to run around using. If he was DEPLOYING the turret, he would set it down and stand in one place while he used it. so basically hes just running around with a chaingun, rather than a turret....
