343 Guilty Wallpaper
This beautiful wallpaper was created by Zo.E, the same artist responsible for nearly every piece of the new Bungie.net site. She was working on art for the navigation widget and the resulting image was so cool that we all wanted a desktop made out of it. So Zo.E did some more magic and voila, a masterpiece was born. Enjoy!

343 is cool on the wallpaper but he is an annoying little talking in the library level the singing and talking keeps me distracted which leaves me to rot!

Same here... I've spent hours (together with my brother) trying to shoot it with every possible weapon...I even tried to melee it and sent a rocket to it... BTW I do like it that the control panels turn purple/red if you shoot it with a plasma weapon/human weapon. I only figured that out about a month ago... (actually it was my brother who really found it, in his eager to destroy everything...you can imagine how he had a grin on is face when I showed him the E3 demo...with the exploding cars :-) )

343 did indeed survive (you saw him fly away after the credits) It's by no means my personal character (I don't know how, but I kinda lost her (?) the first time in the library, and from then on, I was always scared to loose her (?) again. Great wallpaper!!! Does anybody know what the word(s) before "completely unnecessary are? I can't read them...

He did survive Halo right? Because in the trailor, it said outwit Ancient A.I. but in the First Strike book, it said nothing about 343.

I love the wallpaper but, I hate 343! He is a backstabbing and annoying prick! I got my revenge in the end though, and it was sweet!!!!!!!!

Love all the new press coming out, love the new b.net and all the great media available to ease the wait for Halo 2. What i'd like to personally see though is a Fall Of Reach wallpaper, the other bookes, the Flood and First Strike have their awesome covers posted as wallpapers, when can we expect the Fall Of Reach to be posted? oh and the new ODST render?, bad@ss.

Definetally! 343 is only the best character. lol. Some of you may not agree with me, but I definetally think so. This means that Bungie is definetally putting 343 in Halo 2(like we all thought), it has to mean that!
