If BUNGiE wasn't planning on revealing anything yet what gave IGN the right to post leaked images? Is there not a law or something to stop that kind of thing?
What the hell BUNGiE? Kick their asses!
Also could they if they wanted to?

The relationship between game press and developers is an interesting one, isn't it? Each depends on each other and hopes that there is a mutual amount of trust and understanding. The press wants access and information (on terms that are favorable to them and their audience) and the developer wants coverage (on their timeline and hopefully favorable). Neither wants to burn any bridges or completely alienate the other, but both have their own priorities and agendas. I suspect that this may be one of those moments where one party says "sorry dude, we'll try to make sure that this doesn't happen again, don't be too mad at us and forget to keep us on your list (here's some jerky)" and the other is "sheesh, can you at least try to work with us here, we want to be helpful, but you gotta understand our position (thanks for the jerky, send more soon)".
