BXR
BXB
RRX
Sword Canceling
Sword/Rocket Flying
Super Bouncing
Dummying
Dummy Nades
Jump Glitch (jump and get stuck in air)
+ More I can't think of right now
Thats all a result of the graphics engine, in Halo 3 there will be none of those will work
Stop posting them please

A new game will have its own new glitches and the halo 2 glitches will probably be gone. get what im saying?
-
just glad to here none of that stuff will be in Halo 3.
-
All a result of the animation canceling system, actually. Should all be fixed and if not, it'll be caught in the beta. And SOB:
Posted by: Achronos It doesn't really matter what is in the cheating FAQ - the FAQ is meant mostly to inform people about the banhammer (which is used for modding and standby type cheating only). All other kinds (of cheating) fall under the standard usage of every other Xbox Live game - as in, use the feedback system if you see someone cheating. Exploiting a bug (superjumping, animation glitches like BXR) are against the terms of use, and therefore should be reported using the feedback system. Enough feedback actually will get someone banned for various lengths of time from ALL of Xbox Live, not just Halo 2.
[Edited on 2/28/2007]

I BXR, BXB whenever i get the chance and thats often and yes its cheating But its not "CHEATING" because its no different than the superbounce, and if you check the FAQ -blam!- on cheating you will see that its "ok" to use it because everyone else can

not entirely true, BX anything is a result of the coding. There are timers that set the distance between melees and all actions for that matter, reloading has to happen instantly and be stopped instatnly for it to be Halo, so you don't get screwed everytime you reload. So reloading stops those timers, and allows you to melee or shoot again. And halo 1 had something of the sort BLB and I never tried it, but I'm sure BLR would have worked too.
Posted by: G0LDTUPAC Who said its cheating
Why Achronos himself.
Posted by:Achronos The terms of use of Xbox Live clearly state that exploitation of any bug (meaning you deliberately try and perform the bug) is cheating. Bungie's code of conduct (that applies to our games as well) specifically mentions that we control everything. As we have interpreted the glitches involving weapon interruption to be cheating, it is.
If you need more proof I can digg it.

id want bungie to leave sword cancelling and sword/rocket flying...but only for custom games not actual matchmaking. i liked going ontop of levels by sword/rocket flying
Posted by: I Am Florg
Posted by: G0LDTUPAC um what makes you so sure that those wont be in there. imo i think bungie put them in there plus the game will be crap without those, just because you get owned by bxr bxb rrx dosn't mean you can come here and say they wont work.
Umm because they said they didnt and that they were bugs. And are you stupid? halo would be better without them.
If you didn't see me put in my opinon then you are stupid. i know you cant RRX, BXR, BXB thats why people dont want it in halo 3. i dont really care if it is in h3 or not. But you do?
Posted by: holyarchives actually the graphics engine is what renders all in game models. Get it straight
Yes, but dummying is a result of the graphics engine not being able fo properly locate the player and render him in his proper position.
Posted by: SOBMAN Dummy was fixed in 1.1, what you did was push X twice quickly in a hog, and your body would be in the hog buy you could run around, get flags, do anything, and be invisible
No, dummying is when you get stuck in the warthog (getting in and out) and your body is left behind. Once you move, you are transported back to your body's location, and if it is killed, you die. So, people would have the hog drive them right up to the flag, then driv away when they got out. They pick up the flag and move a centimeter, boom, instant capture.

I should quote that, sobman saying that these problems are cause of the graphics engine. That was a really dumb thing to say.

I want the sword cancel to stay. But other then that everything swould be glitch free.
-
Too bad the graphics engine has nothing to do with those.
