Why when someone bumps a thread, they say "bump"?
I'm curious. Isn't bumping against.forum rules? So why not just play itnoff and quote someone instead of pretty much showing everyone that you intentionally bumped the thread?

Because some people are really just not clever. It's all about saving your replies until your thread is towards the bottom. Too many replies, and you'll look desperate. Too few, and you seem uninterested. [Edited on 11.19.2012 11:28 PM PST]
